What is a Tricky Tray? Also known as a basket raffle, a tricky tray is a fundraising event where participants can win prizes which are typically grouped into baskets, with some bigger items such as TV’s, gift cards, and donated experiences from local businesses. Attendees purchase tickets and then place their tickets into the containers associated with the baskets or items they want to win. The more tickets you buy, the more chances you have to win. At the end of the event, a random drawing takes place for each basket or prize. If your ticket is drawn, you win the prize associated with that basket or item.
