Navigating the ever-changing legislative landscape can be challenging, so let NCAAR do the work for you at The Bill Club!
The NCAAR Public Affairs Unit advocates for individuals, families, and communities affected by substance use, mental health, and domestic violence. We do this by monitoring national policies, tracking legislative activity in New Jersey, and identifying bills relevant to these areas. Our goal is to help the public better understand the legislative and political landscape at both the state and national levels, and to encourage our statewide advocate network to submit testimony on the issues that matter most to them.
In 2024, NCAAR launched The Bill Club, a space dedicated to discussing legislation and its impact on New Jersey constituents (that’s you!). The Bill Club is a small group who works collaboratively to analyze complex policies and legislation then distribute it in a way that is clear and easily accessible. These updates are distributed to our mailing list subscribers, who then become honorary members of The Bill Club. If you’re interested in joining, we encourage you to subscribe through our website.
We are also here to support your interest in learning about public policy and the New Jersey Legislature. Whether you want to learn how to track legislation, find your legislative district, or identify your Assembly and Senate representatives, we are here to help.
